Penny Miceli began her career in law enforcement with the West Sacramento Police department in 1995 and spent 10 years there serving the community.  During her employment she was appointed as administrative analyst. Some of her duties included managing the Crime Prevention Program, and she was tasked to lead the first Volunteers in Policing Program. She was assigned to participate with the City of West Sacramento Planning department, and other city departments, during the plan review applying Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED) methods throughout West Sacramento’s build environment, including the IKEA shopping complex.

Penny enjoys baking and leather craft.  Her father, Curly Stroy, was also a member of the Yolo County Sheriff’s Department and retired as a sergeant. Penny now makes her home in Woodland with her husband, Steven.
