Yolo County
Retired Peace Officers Association

About Us

The Yolo County Retired Peace Officers Association was formed for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a memorial to all peace officers in Yolo County who have died in the performance of their duties and to provide assistance for their families.

The Dedication of the Yolo County Peace Officers Memorial was held on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the south entrance of the "Old" Court House.

These funds have been collected almost entirely from local community donations and previous annual golf tournaments.

After the completion and dedication of the memorial in 2013, the association has created a scholarship fund for deserving Yolo County high school students.  The first recipient was awarded in June 2015.  (Scholarship information page in progress)

Join us for our annual Yolo County Peace Officers Memorial Service.  Our next service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016.  The service is held at the "Old" Yolo County Court House, located at 725 Court St, Woodland, California 95695.

The association meets every 3rd Saturday of the month at the Woodland Elk's Lodge, located at 500 Bush St., Woodland, Ca 95695.

We welcome all persons who have retired from law enforcement, and who meet the same requirements in section 830-823 of the California Penal Code, to join YCRPOA.  For more information, contact persons listed on the 'Directors' page.
